Members of the Association pledge:

That the interests of the children in our care will take precedence over all others, and that their mental, physical and emotional welfare will be of paramount importance at all times.That they and their staff will act in a courteous and respectful manner in all dealings with parents and their children.

That the centre will offer a warm, caring hospitable environment to children, parents and staff.

To provide a comprehensive list of all services offered and make clients aware of their financial and other obligations on entering the service.

To be familiar with and abide, by all Government Regulations controlling the industry.

To support the Association in its efforts to improve the standards of care within the industry and to promote the good reputation on Centres in the community.

To upgrade our professional standards by regular attendance and seminars and in service training provided by the Association and the sharing of knowledge
amongst fellow members.

To co-operate with and assist fellow members of this organisation to attain a high standard of care within our centres.

To make our centres places where children may thrive, learn and grow in a non-judgmental and loving atmosphere.

To keep faith with our parents and remember constantly that we have been entrusted with the care of their most precious possessions - their children.

 

 

The Child Care Centres Association of Victoria Inc. wishes to acknowledge that whilst we encourage suppliers to our industry to advertise in our newsletters, we do not, however, accept any product or service liability. Nor is the advertising by a supplier in any of our publications, unless otherwise stated, evidence of endorsment by the Association. The legal liability for defects in quality or workmanship of goods or services advertised in C.C.C.A.V. publications, and for any harmful consequences arising there from, shall therefore remain the sole responsibility of the manufacturer or supplier.
